Dreaming and Transatlantic Black Feminist Design, connects the critical theory and archival practices of Black Feminist authors to the conception, production, investigation, and imagination of Black space. Dreaming and speculative design emerge as an index into the historic desires of imported and native Black bodies in using the material production of culture to enact sovereign spaces for Black autonomy. In this episode, we will explore the work of two Black feminist artists whose architecture and curation work make, map, and embody the complex technologies of surviving white supremacy present in cultural design practices.
